- Gift Shop
When you are staying in one of our sites or cabins, you are given access to our 24/7 laundry and restroom facilities and can pay $10 (Per day/Per person) to fish in our stocked private lakes to try your shot at reaching your daily 4 fish limit!
As much as we love water craft and swimming, we do not allow it in either of our two private lakes. Although, we would love to point you in the right direction on where you can rent one in town, and where it is allowed including Lake San Cristobal, 5 miles from Castle Lakes.
We do not have a dump station on the property. We do have full hookup sites, but if you need to dump, we would be happy to point you in the right direction of where you can do so.
We absolutely love dogs, and allow them everywhere except for in select cabins. Please visit our website at www.castlelakes.com to find out which cabins do and don’t allow dogs. We do ask that you keep your dog in the site or on a leash when outside of the site. Lastly, please don’t leave dogs at the site to bark. We love our peaceful days and nights! We would love to meet the pups, and give them a Milkbone, as we’re sure you’ll also be meeting the camp dogs, Vance and Echo.
You sure can! We welcome buggies of all sorts to come experience the beautiful trails in the San Juan Mountains including the Alpine Loop, which includes a trip over Cinammon Pass to Animas Forks and into Silverton if you please, for a lunch break, and then back over Engineer Pass to Lake City again! We are 3 miles from the base of Cinammon Pass. We do ask that you only ride OHV’s from your site or cabin out to the trails, and not around the park. We love all the trails around us, but we also love our peaceful days and nights.
Our laundry facility and showers are for guests only.
35 out of 52 of our campsites have their own private fire pits and 7 out of our 9 cabins have their own private fire pits. We ask that you please do not make a fire pit of your own at any of the sites or cabins if there is not already one there. We also have a community fire pit open to everyone. Please visit our website at www.castlelakes.com for more information on which sites and cabins do and don’t have fire pits.
Although we do encourage calling first, we do take walk-ins if we have a spot open.
We do have a three night minimum.
